Introducing PACE and Multiplex PACE from 3CR bio

(PCR Allelic Competitive Extension)

3CRROC Scientific has partnered with 3CR Bio to expand sales efforts of their PACE technology and SNP Genotyping automation in North and South America.

3CR’s patented genotyping chemistry, PACE, is the latest in allele-specific chemistry. It provides consistent performance making it ideal for high-throughput genotyping applications. PACE genotyping master mixes are designed for use with PACE Genotyping Assays and are also compatible with pre-existing KASP and Amplifluor® assays.

Unlike probe-based products such as TaqMan, PACE assays only require un-labelled primer oligos to make up the PACE genotyping reaction, in combination with PACE Genotyping Master Mix.

PACE assay design is free of charge which enables customers to use their oligo provider of choice.

PACE Multiplex

PACE Multiplex Master Mix is an advanced and versatile extension of 3CR’s PACE 2.0 Genotyping Master Mix, formulated for the simultaneous detection of up to four targets in one reaction well. (Two bi-allelic SNPs, or one reference gene and a further three genes of interest).

Labs will require a plate reader capable of reading FAM, HEX, ATTO 590, ATTO 647N and reference dye ATTO 680 (wavelengths in the PACE Multiplex Master Mix User Guide). PACE Multiplex Master Mix is supplied at 2x concentration and with or without ATTO 680 reference dye at a range of levels to ensure compatibility with your qPCR machine or reader.

High Density Genotyping

High Density Genotyping can be used for different applications such as analyzing genetic diversity and population structure, construction of high-density genetic maps and provide genotypes for genome-wide association analysis. Recently the cost of sequencing has decreased, enabling the use of hybrid capture and skim sequencing as a cost effective tool to replace array based technologies.

Organism (genome size), sample numbers and density of needed coverage all factor into selecting the most appropriate tool for our clients’ breeding program. That is why ROC Scientific partners with service providers which are focused on the needs of our clients.

Services offered through ROC Scientific

  • Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS)
  • Skim Sequencing and Imputation Panel construction
  • Enriched Skim Sequencing (Skim Sequencing + Hybrid Capture)
